Christy Meitzler joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2019. She is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security. A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, Christy holds Series SIE, Series 7 Top-off, and Series 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Alabama. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Christy serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. She advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Christy will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. In her free time, Christy enjoys cooking, listening to music, and traveling.
